Asbestos exposure is a highly risky exposure. Asbestos dust is created when the product is used, mined or manufactured. This dusk creates small particles of asbestos material which easily enter the lungs and imbed in the outer lining of the lungs and other organs. Although initially there are no symptoms or reasons for concern, over time, this asbestos exposure may lead to the development of mesothelioma cancer, a rare and highly dangerous form of cancer. The symptoms of asbestos exposure often do not surface for 20 to 30 years, sometimes as long as 50 years later. The amount of exposure is not known, though some were only exposed to the product limitedly and have developed this cancer.
