Mesothelioma asbestos poisoning, which is sometimes called just mesothelioma, is a rare form of malignant cancer. It is in the mesothelium sac that covers most of the body's internal organs. In most situations, those who have this form of cancer have gotten it from inhaling asbestos particles. In this type of disease, the cells of the mesothelium become abnormal and eventually begin to divided without any control or structure. As they do, they begin to invade other tissues and organs, and eventually damage those organs. This form of cancer metastasizes, or spreads, from one location to others. In most instances, the cancer is preventable if asbestos types of material are avoided or protective gear is used when meeting it.
